I have lost a lot of weight, but I cannot get it out of my head that the amount of calories I am supposed to eat is not a goal to reach but a limit! I use a Little Black Book-Daily Food Diary and I set my limit, but, I naturally want to be an over achiever and make the numbers work. ARGH! lol

 

I am really trying to stick with the 400 calorie meals (3) and the 100 calorie snacks (2).

 

Any one else have this issue?

Nancy, I think your plan sounds great! I find it much easier to keep to a calorie limit when I'm home or when I pack a lunch for work. I've been at a conference for the past 3 days and I don't think they've missed a carb group! They even purposely asked the hotel not to put out bottled water, only sodas. Needless to say, there are a lot of unhappy, thirsty, bloated people here! All that and I forgot my gym clothes too! Well, hopefully we will get lots of business from the event. I'll have to get back on the plan tomorrow! So yes, it's a struggle to keep calories to a limit sometimes. Keep trying :)
